What a fun weekend!

You woke up Saturday morning with a runny nose, which we are positive are allergies but just in case, we opted out of music class. Instead we decided to meet daddy down at Old Navy and then wander around in the beautiful sunshine. Well, we made it to Old Navy, but never past the entry way! As soon as we walked in we bumped into your best bud Abby and her parents Emily and Ryan! I must admit, the entire car ride to the store you kept asking about them and I repeatedly 'lied' to you (little white lies...harmless, right!) that they are all working today, just like Daddy so we couldn't see them. Well, our luck changed and there they were! Next thing you know, we spent nearly an hour in the entry way of the shop where you and Abby decided to turn it into a My Gym session...just better!! :) The two of you danced like monkeys, called out the letters on the floor, rearranged some clothing and totally acted like the two best, funniest and most clever toddlers on the planet!

Since the word Navy has a letter 'Y', you were really into it (it's your favorite letter!) but Abby considers the alphabet very near and dear to her heart and insisted the letters were all hers and tried to protect them from you trampling on them, as shown in the photo! It was hilarious and I have to say the two of you never behave this way in public, in front of strangers! It was easy to imagine that we were in one of our homes the way you were behaving, you guys just felt so comfortable! It was so cool!

Then the weekend got even better when Andrei, my good friend from Vancouver came for a visit! He got you a really neat toy that you are totally digging and a Vancouver Tee! We had so much fun catching up and I am so happy you two had a chance to meet.

So amidst allergies and all, a great weekend was had by all!

What fun! I'm sick too. It makes being a mommy hard doesn't it. I hope you get to feeling better.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! It seems like it had to get worse, and the allergies became a full blown cold! Ah well, now we must figure out how to have fun with a box of Kleenex! ;-)
